Look At These Lovely Girls

It was so sunny and clear today that we just had to take a few pictures before heading off to church. We also wanted to commemorate the occasion because today LaRue gave her first ever talk in primary. She did such a good job! We had practiced at home a few times and she had been excited, but rather silly and wiggly. Not today though, for the real thing she stood still and said just what Jordan told her to, microphone firmly in hand throughout the entire thing of course. It was so sweet to watch. She even sat reverently at the front while she waited for her turn, and if you forget the time that she spent lifting up her dress and showing her underwear to the entire primary (she said it was too hot) then it was a complete success. I was very proud of her, you never know how these things are going to go until you're in the thick of it, but all was as well as you could hope for. I can't believe LaRue will be turning 4 in just two and a half weeks, it's gone by so fast!

They are so cute! I love when they have to do things in primary it makes you think it wasn't that long ago that you were the little kid giving the talk.
