Wittle Fishies

LaRue and Matilda started their swimming lessons yesterday and so far so good! You never quite know how LaRue is going to deal with something no matter how much she may be looking forward to it, but she's doing great! She really likes her instructors, and it's so cute to watch her with the other kids, trying to pay attention. Today the teachers were having each child walk to the edge of the tot dock and then they'd hand them these floaty barbell things and guide them as they floated and kicked their feet behind them. LaRue was so excited when it was her turn that she just ran and jumped right off the tot dock into her teachers arms and gave him a big hug. Precious!
Matilda is doing pretty well too. She's in the water babies class and since I refuse to be seen in a bathing suit Jordan is the one getting in the pool with her. She's a daddys girl anyway, but it's sweet to watch her enjoy her special pool time with daddy. Although today she felt like he pushed her way too hard to get comfortable on her back and spent the second half of class crying and asking for mom, so we'll just have to see what tomorrow brings.
And since the main purpose of this blog is to lay my lameness out there for all the world to see, let me just tell you that waking up and getting us to the pool by ten is a lot harder for me than it should be. Lisa likey to sleep, only seven more days to go.
