It would have made more sense to take LaRue to a matinee, but I waited too long to pull the trigger on this one, so we ended up having to see an evening show. Even so we had a really fun, quick little trip!
We arrived in Eugene in the late afternoon and checked into our swanky digs

(Just in case anyone is feeling bad for Matilda for not getting to come, I will tell you that she and daddy are going on a special date to the movies this weekend.)
Motel 6 yall! Jelisss?We had just the right amount of time to change into our fancy clothes, enjoy a yummy dinner and get into our seats with only ten minutes to wait.
And SO high up, luckily, none of our noses started bleeding, and we were able to really enjoy the show.

LaRue really had a good time, she was so excited to see the play, and she LOVED staying overnight. When we got to our room she kept saying "I LOVE it here! I never want to leave!"
She said the same thing when we stopped at Dennys for breakfast on Saturday before heading home. Fun weekend!

That sounds so much fun. I am glad that you got to take Larue. I so wished that I could of taken my girls. WICKED is such and awesome show and you are an awesome mom.
beautiful i am so happy that your family works together and is able to create that much needed family fuzzy feel good feeling. my family didn't make it because of the war in Iraq. I know someday we will be able to learn from that and for now I can enjoy being able to live vicariously through these fun filled beautiful blogs. thanks bunches
